		<description><![CDATA[Why doesn&#039;t this surprise me?  Bingaman forced the Aamodt settlement through the senate knowing that a majority of his constituents opposed it.  Relegating the State to pay out $50 million and perhaps hundreds of millions the County will have to pony up.  Bingaman, Udall, Ben Ray Lujan and Harry Montoya all refused to hold public town hall meetings.  We can only guess what was going on behind the scenes.]]></description>
